Christopher Columbus was a barbarous, narcissistic, preposterous man who doesn't have the right to be adulated for the revelation of America. To start with, Columbus was a merciless man who oppressed, assaulted, and killed the locals of the nations he cruised to. As per an article by John Margolis entitled Goodbye Columbus, Columbus administered the killings of certain (Indians) and requested the oppression of others. Margolis proceeds to state that Columbus didn't forestall his crew members from assaulting the blameless locals, and even that he himself assaulted an Indian ladies in the wake of beating her with a bit of rope.
